쇼팽의 이별곡을 영국출신 팝페라 가수 "레슬리 가렛"이 불렀다.

쇼팽이 조국 폴란드를 떠날 때
첫 사랑인 "콘스탄티아라"에게 이별을 알리면서 쓴 곡으로
피아노의 시인인 쇼팽 자신이
"이렇게 아름다운 선율을 써 본일이 없다"고 말한
일화가 있을 정도로 선율이 아름답다.

가을비 하염없이 내리는 날에
사랑했던 그 때 그 시절 그 사람을 추억하면
향기로움이 그윽할 것 같다.
